We keep our home very cool in the winter (58 or 59 degrees) so warm, comfortable layers are a must. This is my indoor jacket and it is cozy and toasty warm. I agree that the sizing is generous – I bought a Medium and it fits more like a large, but that’s A-OK with me because I am wearing a thick sweater or hoodie under it.
